In the reporting period, awareness generation meeting on conservation of Mangroves and Motivation for planting saplings in Vedaranyam, Kodiyakadu and Kodiyakarai are being organised. After the effort, Mangroves conservation and survival are ensured 2000 people from the coastal villages and adjacent areas are participating in the programme. In the meeting, the importance of mangroves, new plantation and conservation are discussed with them. Conservation from cutting firewood and other purpose must be stopped. Fisherman community, students, youth and environmental groups are involved in the work.
It is an important programme for environment, ecology and climate change at present scenario. we are requesting to support this programme through your friends and well wishes.
