Will you help us spread the word for these hungry rescue horses and burros in need through our GlobalGiving platform?
At Wild For Life Foundation we house a feed over 40 rescue equines who have saved from roundups, starvation, slaughter and other forms of cruelty. We care for these horses and burros at our rural back country Southern California sanctuary where water is pumped from a well, and hay is brought in by the truck load.
Securing safe harbor together with lifesaving essentials such as water and nutritious hay in a setting where these most crucial elements are not part of the natural landscape puts a constant strain on our charity shoestring budget.
Our all volunteer charity is dedicated serving the essential needs precious and well deserving animals, but with the constant need to refill our hay barn with 250 bales of hay every few weeks… you can imagine the urgency of continued meaningful donations. It is not just a wish that we could raise donations, but an absolute need.
A bale of hay can make all the difference! Nutritional hay is life for these horses and because grazing pasture land is not a viable option in Southern California, continued deliveries with truck loads of hay are vital to their SURVIVAL.
If you have wanted to help, but have put it off, NOW’S THE TIME! You can make a huge difference for a horse in need with a donation that will help fill their hay barn for through the winter.
The cost to replenish quality hay supplies to feed rescue horses is the single highest expense for WFLF's lifesaving equine rescue and sanctuary program. On average we purchase 250-265 (100 lb) bales of hay for delivery to feed equines in need at an average cost of $3500 every few weeks.
You can also TEXT to GIVE $10 toward lifesaving hay today: Text GIVE 18272 to 80088 to help feed horse in need!
Will you help us spread the word about the vital need for donations through our GlobalGiving platform? You can also set up a recurring donation. In fact, monthly giving is the easiest way to support this crucial lifesaving mission. Indeed monthly gifts provide a consistent, reliable income stream that allows us to assure that these vulnerable victimized animals receive the quality hay they need and that they will never be at risk of starvation or displacement again! Your support in sharing information about this important cause will undoubtedly help us to come closer to our goal. Will you help by sharing a link to our project page on GlobalGiving?
Each and every donation no matter the size makes a difference - no matter the amount. Having crucial hay supplies on hand at all times is what makes it possible to carry out our lifesaving work.
Thank you again for your interest and support and for all you do to make this incredible aid for at-risk horses possible.
Yours for the horses and burros,
Katia Louise
