Hay Donation Drive to feed Rescue Horses & Burros

This project fills an immediate need to feed at-risk animals that would otherwise go without, and advocates for the protection of horses and burros from starvation, cruelty and abandonment, through education and charitable giving.

Donations received through WFLF’s Hay Donation Drive help to fund the purchase of high quality food which provides nutritional meals for horses and burros in need, including starvation victims, and other at-risk victimized and displaced equines that arrive to our doors, regardless of origin/ breed, age, gender or lack of training.

Nutritional hay is life for these horses and burros, and because grazing pasture land is not a viable option in Southern California we must continue to haul hay in. But with extreme drought conditions, ongoing wildfires, increased fuel and grain prices the availability of nutritional quality hay is severely impacted - which means much higher hay costs, and that’s why this project is sooo important! Every donation makes a difference.
