Summer 2020 Update

By Katia Louise | Director

We've all been impacted by these uncertain and challenging times in the recent months this year. But no matter what goes on in the world around us, we have not wavered from the mission of WFLF's Hay Donation Drive to Fee Horses and Burros in Need.
This project helps to assure that we are able to continue providing essential nutritional hay and feed to rescued horses and burros served by the Wild For Life Foundation. Just like you and me, these precious sentient beings, need to eat every day.  They rely on kind and caring people like you who support our efforts in making sure that we always have a suffient supply of quality hay on hand for them to eat.  And boy are they excited when it's time for their next meal.  Whinnies abound and tails swirl as they gather round the feed bins at meal time.  It's a big deal for small charities like WFLF to keep the hay barn stocked on an ongoing basis.  And hay has historically always been our number one expense at WFLF.  Make no mistake, the horses are appreciative and so are we.  WFLF and our all volunteer staff cannot do this work without the meaningful support of our community.  We are truly thankful.
Through this project we are also working to raise awareness for the need to protect and preserve this majestic species from starvation and other life threatening dangers. The generous support received by WFLF through GlobalGiving indeed has helped to save many lives.
As we continue to reach out to animal lovers and horse enthusiasts we hope that our lifesaving efforts inspire more people to get involved either by sharing information or by donating.  You can help by sharing our page on the GlobalGiving platform.  By joining efforts in this way we have been able to break the cycle of animal cruelty for 100's of horses and burros across America. But our work is far from over. Please take action and now to support these efforts.  You can help save lives by sharing this important message.

Thank you for helping to make a difference.
Yours for the horses and burros,
Katia Louise
