For many children with disabilities in rural communities, the journey to school is often impossible without proper mobility support. Through this project, 100 children will receive durable and locally appropriate wheelchairs designed to meet their individual needs.
Our team is conducting professional assessments to ensure each wheelchair fits correctly and provides adequate comfort and support. Proper fitting is essential for preventing injuries and maximizing independence.
The project extends beyond distribution. Caregivers and teachers are receiving practical training to ensure children can use their wheelchairs safely and effectively. Follow-up visits are also planned to monitor progress and provide repairs when needed.
Community sensitization campaigns are helping to challenge misconceptions surrounding disability and encourage greater acceptance. Through these efforts, children who were once isolated are gaining opportunities to learn, socialize, and thrive. We are deeply grateful for your continued support.
