Overview
The Wheels for Education Access in Zambia project was initiated to address a critical logistical challenge faced by the Charity Centre for Children and Youth Development (CCCYD) limited mobility to reach vulnerable children, students, and communities in remote and hard-to-reach areas of North-Western Province.
Access to reliable transportation is essential for monitoring scholarship beneficiaries, supporting school-going children, delivering educational materials, and implementing outreach programs effectively. The project seeks to raise funds to purchase a dedicated vehicle that will significantly improve service delivery and impact.
Fundraising Progress
To date, the project has raised a total of $101 through the GlobalGiving platform.
While we are grateful for the support received so far, this amount represents only a small fraction of the total funds required to procure a suitable vehicle. The cost of a reliable 4x4 vehicle necessary due to the terrain and long distances involved remains beyond our current funding level.
