The COVID 19 pandemic has created a truly unprecedented which effect all of us, regardless of where we are or what we do. Our hearts go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. However, we also believe that Love, Hope and Positivity can be far more infectious than a virus. Please stay safe and care for others during this hard times.

We would like to share with you the good news from our country, is that Vietnam has managed to contain COVID-19, lifting social isolation measures, restarting the economy and allowing gatherings. Schools start to reopen and our girls are going back to their classes. Another school year just officially begins. We can’t wait to share with you our latest updates happening during over past three months.

This school year, Acacia and Clover attend their high school. With the support of our program staff, the two children successfully enrolled at Vien Dong College with Spa major. After three years of studying here, they will get the high school diploma, associate's degree and vocational degree to prepare them for the future ahead. We are delighted to always be a companion in the lives of children and families with their important decisions, as well as helping them have a more sustainable future through education.

Our team is also happy to welcome two more beneficiaries to join the program (Gaura, 7 years old and Freesia, 8 years old). Gaura and Freesia will receive a full-tuition scholarship, as well as other supports including health insurance, school supplies, uniforms until they complete high school. At the same time, we would like to send our congrats to Petunia for sucessfully completing our program and passing the high school graduation exam. Petunia joined the program when she was a tenth grade student in 2017. It has been a wonderful time being with her over the past three years in the role of her friend, supporter and mentor throughout high school journey.

Another updates on monthly activities, we are working hard to prepare for the second session of vocational guidance series “When I Grow Up”, which will be hold on this Sunday (October, 18). With the topic “Successfully Growing”, that introduces the girls the interesting knowledge about entrepreneurship, we are pleased to announce Mr. Markus Grnick - Founder of lecka chocolate bar and tryb Group will be our speaker at the activity. We could not be happier to see more and more people from many walks of life joining Where Dreams Bloom, contribute their time and efforts to the program. Please follow our Facebook page at the link below to see the photos of the weekend activity.

Last but not least, we would like to share with you the latest good news from AAT. Georges Blanchard, our founder, was received the French Trophy for the Social and Humanitarian Category 2020. This prize is rewarded in recognition the work of Georges and his team at Alliance Anti Trafic Vietnam and Thailand for the outstanding accomplishments in the field of protecting and empowering women and girls at high risk of sexual abuse, exploitation and human trafficking in Southeast Asia since 2001.

As we go forward, we’ll be sure to keep you updated and know that we always value your questions, ideas and feedback. Please send us email via: vnaction@allianceantitrafic if you have any question.

At Where Dreams Bloom program, we strongly believe that girls have the right same right to education as boys. Educated girls can make informed choices and from a far better range of options. This is a great source of inspiration and encouragement that keeps us working tirelessly to bring a brighter future to our girls. However, we could not accomplish this big goal without your support. One again, thank you for being a part of our team of supporters that are making our missions realities.

We wish all of us good health and good spirits.
