By Ms. Ha Tran | Project update
We are excited to share the latest updates on Where Dreams Bloom, a meaningful program supporting at-risk girls in completing their K-12 education.
Celebrating Tet with Tradition and Joy
In January, AAT organized a special Tet activity for the children in the program. The girls not only had the chance to reflect on their achievements over the past year, but also shared their dreams and hopes for the future. In the festive spirit of Tet, they participated in decorating Tet calendars and received meaningful gifts for their families, helping to ensure a warmer and more fulfilling Lunar New Year celebration.
Meeting Gazania and Jasmine – Success Stories
We also had the pleasure of meeting Gazania and Jasmine, two girls who left the program last year. We reminisced about fond memories and updated each other on their journeys. Gazania is currently studying Chinese with the ambition of earning a scholarship to study in Taiwan. She is also working part-time at a Chinese restaurant to support her studies and practice the language. Jasmine, on the other hand, chose not to pursue university but is studying Thai with the goal of finding a job with a Thai company. Both of their choices reflect determination and a drive to create better futures for themselves.
Scholarships and Tuition Support – Standing by Their Side
The Where Dreams Bloom program continues to support the girls by covering their monthly tuition fees at school. We maintain regular communication with their schools and teachers to monitor both tuition and academic progress, ensuring the girls can focus on their studies without financial worries.
A Heartfelt Thank You
None of these achievements would be possible without your support. We deeply appreciate your generosity, which allows us to continue providing education and opportunities for these girls. Among the countless inspiring projects on GlobalGiving, we are honored that you have chosen to stand with us.
