The "Winter Clothing Support for Children in Syria" project was successfully implemented as a seasonal humanitarian intervention targeting 5,000 vulnerable children, particularly those living in displacement camps. As harsh winter conditions threatened the health and safety of children in these regions, the project aimed to provide essential winter clothing to reduce cold-related risks and ensure basic protection.
This project was designed as a seasonal intervention, addressing specific winter-related needs. With the arrival of spring and improved weather conditions, the immediate necessity for winter clothing has diminished. Therefore, the planned winter phase of the project has been completed as scheduled.
It is important to note that while this seasonal support has ended, YEÇED remains committed to the long-term well-being of children in Syria and will continue to monitor emerging needs through ongoing communication with our field teams.
We thank all our supporters, field teams, and partners who made this impact possible.
