As winter continues, many of our beneficiaries are facing growing challenges. A large number of the families we support live in remote rural regions where heavy snowfall has made daily life especially difficult. Roads are often blocked, access to shops and services is limited, and basic needs become harder to meet.
In these areas, heating is a serious concern. Many families rely on firewood to keep their homes warm, and shortages during severe winter conditions put children and elderly people at real risk. Along with food and warm clothing, access to heating materials is often what determines whether a family can safely get through the coldest months.
Our team continues to identify the most vulnerable households and deliver support where it is needed most. The need remains ongoing, and winter is far from over for many of these communities.

Thank you for standing with families who are facing winter in the hardest conditions.
In remote rural areas, heavy snowfall has cut off access to basic services, leaving families dependent on firewood as their only source of heat during the coldest winter days.
