Amid the severe winter temperatures in Syria and Gaza, SAED Organization launched an emergency project to provide heating materials to the most vulnerable families. The shortage of energy sources and the rising cost of fuel have intensified the suffering of displaced families, making warmth a basic necessity to protect children and the elderly from cold-related risks.
The project included distributing coal, firewood, diesel, simple heaters, and insulation materials for tents. Beneficiary selection followed clear criteria targeting displaced families, low-income households, widows, and vulnerable groups.
In Gaza, despite major challenges caused by destruction and power outages, the team successfully reached shelters and affected neighborhoods through safe distribution points. The heating supplies significantly improved living conditions and reduced cold-related illnesses.
The project aims to strengthen family resilience during winter 2025 and reflects the organization’s commitment to ongoing humanitarian support
