Winter Warmth for Gaza, Syria & Lebanon

As winter tightens its grip, thousands of families in Syria and Gaza face life-threatening cold that deepens their daily suffering. Children sleep under thin blankets that offer little protection, and mothers stay awake through long nights trying desperately to shield their little ones from the freezing winds. Harsh storms tear through the fragile tents of northern Syria, while heavy rains and destroyed homes in Gaza leave families with no means of warmth or shelter.

In response to these urgent conditions, Saed Charity launched an emergency winter campaign to provide heating materials to the most vulnerable families. Distributions included coal, firewood, thick winter blankets, simple heating devices, and insulation materials for doors and windows to protect children from the deadly chill. In Syria, our teams reached remote camps that are extremely difficult to access. In Gaza, our staff worked amid destruction and ongoing security challenges to ensure that assistance reached families in dire need.

Many mothers expressed profound gratitude, saying these supplies brought warmth back into their tents and saved their children’s lives. However, thousands more still need urgent help, as winter has just begun and the hardships continue to intensify.
