As winter arrives, the suffering of thousands of Syrian families intensifies, particularly those living in displacement camps and damaged homes that offer little protection from freezing temperatures. In such conditions, heating materials are not a luxury—they are a vital necessity.
Many displaced families are unable to afford heating supplies due to extreme poverty and rising costs, placing children and the elderly at serious health risk. Cold nights are spent shivering, while mothers remain awake fearing for their children’s safety.
In response to this urgent need, Saed Relief and Development implemented a winter heating assistance project across several camps and affected communities in Syria. The aid included coal, fuel, blankets, and essential heating supplies to help families endure the harsh winter months.
This initiative provided real warmth inside tents and homes, protected children from cold-related illnesses, and restored a sense of safety and dignity to struggling families. These supplies were more than material aid—they were a message of compassion and solidarity.
