As winter intensifies and cold storms continue, thousands of Syrian families—particularly displaced households—are living in extremely harsh conditions that threaten their health and safety. In camps and damaged areas, families lack basic heating resources, while tents and temporary shelters are exposed to wind and rain, making winter nights long and unforgiving, especially for children and the elderly.
In response to these difficult humanitarian conditions, Saed Relief and Development implemented a winter blanket distribution project to provide essential warmth and protection to the most vulnerable families. Thick winter blankets were distributed to help families cope with falling temperatures and sleep with greater safety and comfort during cold nights.
This project helped ease suffering and reduce the risk of cold-related illnesses such as severe colds and respiratory diseases, which pose serious threats to children, patients, and elderly individuals. The blankets also restored a sense of dignity and care, reminding families that they are not alone and that support is reaching them during times of hardship.
The blankets were not merely items of relief—they were a message of humanity, warmth, and hope. Many beneficiary families expressed deep gratitude for this assistance, which helped protect their children and eased the harsh impact of winter.
We extend our sincere thanks to all donors and supporters who made this humanitarian project possible. Your continued generosity and sharing of this report with family and friends help expand the impact of aid and ensure that more Syrian families receive the warmth and protection they urgently need during the winter season.
