As winter temperatures drop, thousands of families in Syria face harsh living conditions due to the lack of heating resources and high costs. In response, Saed Charity implemented a winter heating assistance project to protect vulnerable families from the risks of extreme cold.
The project targeted displaced families, camp residents, households living in damaged or unfinished shelters, as well as elderly individuals and children. Beneficiaries were identified through detailed field assessments based on vulnerability and level of need.
Assistance included winter blankets, heaters, and heating fuel, helping create warmer and safer living environments. Distribution was conducted in an organized and transparent manner, ensuring fairness and safety.
The intervention helped reduce cold-related illnesses, protect vulnerable family members, and improve living conditions during winter. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the support that eased their suffering amid difficult economic conditions.
Saed Charity remains committed to implementing winter response programs in Syria and expanding assistance to reach more families in need.
