As winter tightens its grip on Syria, cold has become another enemy for families already burdened by years of crisis. In makeshift homes, damaged buildings, and overcrowded shelters, winter nights are long and unforgiving. To help ease this suffering, Saed Charity distributed winter heating materials to 70 vulnerable families, offering warmth, protection, and dignity during one of the harshest seasons of the year.
For these families, the cold is not a temporary inconvenience — it is a daily threat. Parents spoke of sleepless nights, children shivering under thin blankets, and the fear that illness would spread as temperatures dropped. Many had no access to heating fuel or adequate winter supplies, forcing them to choose between warmth and food.
The winter kits distributed included essential heating materials carefully selected to help families endure the cold safely. As the teams arrived, the relief was visible. Elderly beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude, while parents shared how this support would protect their children through freezing nights. In moments like these, warmth became more than physical — it became emotional reassurance.
This distribution reminded families that they are not facing winter alone. It restored hope and strengthened resilience in communities that have endured far too much.
Your support makes warmth possible.
