Winter in Syria exposes the fragility of daily life. With limited resources and rising fuel costs, warmth has become a luxury many families simply cannot afford. In response, Saed Charity provided winter heating assistance to 86 families, helping them survive freezing temperatures with safety and dignity.
Many of these families include children, elderly members, and individuals with chronic illnesses — those most at risk during winter. Without heating, the cold creeps into every corner of their lives, worsening health conditions and deepening despair. Mothers shared fears of their children falling sick, while elderly beneficiaries spoke of the pain cold brings to their bodies.
Through this distribution, families received vital heating materials that immediately changed their daily reality. Smiles replaced worry, and relief replaced fear. These supplies allowed families to focus on survival without the constant threat of cold-related illness.
This support is not just seasonal aid — it is an act of compassion that preserves life.
