Thanks to your help and support, we continue to provide psychological assistance, hygiene kits, and stationery kits for girls and women who have survived violence! Conducting individual consultations in combination with group work, as well as tools for redirection (if necessary) to specialized medical institutions, such as the Odessa Regional Mental Health Center - give very good results and we have cases in which people are in very severe and depressive conditions back to normal life! We have also introduced a practice where a child, who has received the help of a psychologist and whose psychological state has been stabilized to improve socialization, visits our children's center where he can spend useful time with his peers! We distribute hygiene kits and personal hygiene products.
Unfortunately, in the context of a protracted military conflict and a deteriorating economic situation in our country, the number of cases of domestic violence will increase, which in turn increases the demand for emergency psychological assistance. We are confident that thanks to your support, we will be able to continue to provide such necessary services for women and girls who have survived violence!
Women are not always ready to talk and share problems in the family, especially problems of domestic violence. We began to carry out trips with our psychologist to areas of the Odessa region, where by communicating with women we can identify such cases and provide external psychological assistance and, very importantly, legal advice. So, during the last visit, 6 cases of domestic violence were identified, and these women received assistance from a psychologist.
