Thanks to your support, women and girls who have experienced domestic violence are receiving comprehensive psychological and emotional assistance aimed at their recovery and the strengthening of their inner resources. We pay special attention to group work — a safe space where every participant can feel that she is not alone in her experiences. During group sessions, women and girls have the opportunity to openly share their feelings, talk about their personal experiences, and receive support not only from the psychologist or facilitator but also from other participants who have gone through similar situations and gradually found their own path to healing. This format helps reduce the sense of isolation, rebuild trust in oneself and others, and develop self-support and self-respect skills. The atmosphere of mutual respect, acceptance, and safety creates the conditions in which women and girls can find inner stability, recognize their own strength, and take important steps toward a new stage in their lives.
Alongside group sessions, we also conduct individual consultations with a psychologist, allowing each participant to receive personalized support. In a confidential and trusting atmosphere, women and girls can speak openly about their experiences, receive professional help in coping with anxiety, fear, or emotional exhaustion. Such work promotes deeper self-understanding, gradual recovery of confidence, dignity, and emotional balance, and helps them find the strength to build a safe and fulfilling life.
Over the past month, we have conducted 15 individual consultations and 4 group sessions, which brought together women and girls of different ages. Each meeting became an important step on their journey toward recovery, self-awareness, and inner healing.
To better understand the needs of our participants and make our programs even more responsive to their real-life challenges, we conducted an anonymous survey among women and girls attending the sessions. The results will help us shape our services more flexibly, adapt our approaches and methods to specific situations, and timely identify new needs or areas that require adjustment. This is an important step toward improving the quality of our work and providing even more effective support to every participant.
In addition to psychological support, we continue to distribute dignity hygiene kits to women and girls in difficult life circumstances. These kits contain the most necessary personal hygiene products that help provide basic needs and support a sense of dignity and self-care. Every month, our team distributes approximately 15-20 kits, thanks to which women and girls receive not only practical help, but also an important signal of attention and support.
We are grateful to everyone who joins this work. It is thanks to your support that we can continue to help women and girls recover, find inner strength and believe in their own future again. Together, we create a space where care turns into hope, and support turns into new opportunities.
