Dear Global Givers,
We would like to express our sincerest appreciation for your steadfast dedication to assisting iPartner India's campaign to fight hunger within tribal communities. Your invaluable support has been instrumental in our efforts, and we are truly thrilled to have you on board. Since our last report, much progress has been made, and we are delighted to share the latest update with you.
In the last quarter, we have focused on empowering families and promoting sustainability by counselling and motivating them to save seeds for the next season. This initiative will enable families to grow vegetables with minimal support, ensuring long-term self-sufficiency. We are thrilled to report that nine women from two villages we previously supported have grown vegetables independently and reaped the benefits.
As part of our ongoing efforts, our field coordinator has visited the nine villages and identified 200 new families who can be provided with seeds for the upcoming season. In addition to assessing water availability and suitable land, we will conduct soil testing to determine the optimal techniques for improving soil fertility. Once this crucial step is complete, we will distribute seeds for Gourds, Cucumber, Okra, and Tomatoes to the selected families.
Despite the challenges posed by untimely rain and the changing climate in the north Indian terrain, we remain steadfast in ensuring that nutritious and fresh vegetables continue to reach our targeted families. By doing so, we aim to foster increased household-level savings and enhance overall well-being.
We deeply appreciate each donor for their unwavering commitment to this cause. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of tribal families and communities, empowering them to thrive and create a sustainable future. We look forward to continued collaboration and the positive impact we will achieve together.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Team iPartner India
