Dear Global Givers,
We are deeply grateful for your dedication and support towards iPartner India's initiative to combat hunger in tribal communities. Your involvement is invaluable to our progress, and it is with great pleasure that we present this report.
In our journey to promote self-sufficiency among tribal families, we have reached a significant milestone. Our project has successfully encompassed nine native villages, benefiting 200 families through the distribution of seeds for essential vegetables such as Bottle Gourd, Ridge Gourd, and Cluster Beans.
We are encouraged to report that the survival rate of the plants has been impressive, with 50-70% of them thriving. Out of the many families we have reached, about 20 families in each village have managed to sustain their kitchen gardens. This has led to substantial financial savings, ranging from $6 to $8 monthly.
In a progressive step forward, we have extended our programme by providing 22 families in each of the nine villages with a new selection of seeds. This distribution includes Radish, Spinach, Coriander, Carrot, and Fenugreek, chosen specifically for their nutritional value and adaptability to local conditions.
We are also proud to report that the vegetables grown by these families are cultivated without the use of chemicals, relying instead on regular tap water and rainwater, as well as repurposed kitchen wastewater.
Each contribution has played a significant role in the success of this initiative. Your support empowers us to continue our work, making a direct impact on the lives of tribal families by enabling them to achieve food security and improved well-being.
We cherish the solidarity and support of each donor and look forward to the continued success of this campaign. Together, we are cultivating hope and nurturing the growth of sustainable futures.
With deepest appreciation,
Team iPartner India
