We continue to carry out actions to strengthen women entrepreneurial groups in the southeast in Tucumán Province.
Rural family scale entrepreneurship has its process and road to follow, oftenly a slow one. It first starts with little production, selling to friends and neighbors, doing it sporadically and, in the cooking ones such as these, studying customer’s tastes and selecting the most selled products.
All Tucuman’s entrepreneurial groups accompanied by ACDI have passed this stage successfully and are ready to grow and acquire new strategies to improve their sales.
That’s way, through a cycle of training sessions with specialists, communication and marketing topics were addressed to improve commercialization:
Identity and Brand building workshops were held to define names and logos for each group. Currently a graphic designer is working on capturing the ideas and feelings expressed by the entrepreneurs in order to turn them into what will be their brand.
We believe that revising how far you came along, where you want to go and the identity that you have been building is essential to grow as an entrepreneur. Building these brands is a fundamental step to boost the sale of the products. Soon we will have the final results to share with you!
We also organized and dictated training sessions regarding uses of social media mobile applications to improve communication and reach new customers. The groups learned how to use Facebook, Instagram and Whats app tools.
ACDI favors these meetings also by providing digital connection in a communitarian hotspot where beneficiaries gather to participate in each activity, led by territorial promoters, taking ICTs as fundamental tools.
The entrepreneur women are very happy and excited about the incorporation of these new tools, they perceive them as new growing possibilities for business. It is also important to highlight that these activities were demanded by the beneficiaries as they detected the importance of taking new steps forward. The way they evolved, diversifying their productivity and organizing their entrepreneurships is a real commitment and hard work example.
The economic crisis ravages our beloved Argentina, the resilience of these groups that continue to keep their entrepreneurships going with ACDI’s support is really meaningful and has a concrete impact in their family daily sustainment.
New actions to strengthen these entrepreneurships are beyond. Help the rural women of northeast Tucumán to improve their incomes and quality of life. Join us!
