Greetings Everyone,

Your help and gift has gone a long way to change the lives of displaced women during the Civil crisis in the NW/SW Region of Cameroon.  We are so grateful and appreciative that we have such wonderful God given supporters who believes in others above self.  We are blessed to have the understanding and leadership from the women in our tribes who are willing to work hard, sacrifice in order for the young girls and women  from our villages  will have the opportunity to live in a different world filled with joy and hope and free of the Civil crisis that our country is currently under going.  With our new attitude our girls and women will learn how to create opportunities to use their skills, abilities, passions and interest in serving others and sharpening their commitment to their village/community.

Despite the fact that we are displaced girls and women from our villages/communities and way of life, we are determined to find ways that we can utilize our strengths, abilities and titles to make a differnce that would enhance the lives of our girls and women in the future when we will be able to return to our homes and villages.

Let me emphasize by saying that we have started this journey to empower our women by collaborating with the Rotary Club in Yaounde who is under the leadership of a female and other groups locally and internatioally to successfully network and collaborate with successful women all around the world.  For example we have been attending and participating with a group in the USA in a setting called the Garden.  The Garden is made up of individuals from around the world who offers their skills, talents and resources to assist others with a need. Love thy Neighbor and lets make the World a better places for our children and future generations..

Each Thursday we log in and meet in the Garden which is located in California, USA, by Zoom.  The Garden is open from 9 until 12 and the participants who have been personally invited can log in and share ideas, information and/or resources with the group.  JRCCA was referred to this group by our sister organization in the USA, JRFIUSA.  Since we have been a part of this group we have had the opportunity and pleasure to net-work with other individuals from around the world in the areas of health care, education, food security, banking and communications.

The above stated areas are the areas that are drastically needed for the recovery and development of our girls and women skills, abilities and talents in the NW/SW Region in Cameroon, Africa.  We have been participating in training programs with our sister organization which emphasize SMART goals and Action Steps that will help our girls and women develop skills and knowledge in the area of small business development as the Credit Union is being developed that will allow the girls and women to secure small business development loans in order for them to invest in their own small business especially in the areas of Food Security and Health Care and learn the basic concept and principal of saving and investing in real money.

Currently we are offering small business opportunities in the area of food security, multi-level marketing, health care, education and online business development training.  Some examples of business opportunities would be Pig Farming, Quail Bird Farming, Honey Bee Farming, Multi-Level Marketing for consumer and business products, Coaching and SMART Goals and Action Education and Training Program at the "JRCCA American Corner in Mbengwi", etc.

In conclusion, our future SMART goals and Action Steps will include exploring the tangible leadership benefits of Community Service for our girls and women to include creating new relationships, developing their skills and abilities in a variety of environments, with the opportunity to investigate and identify the "causes" or areas of service that one can care about most, especially in the NW/SW Regions in Cameroon, Africa.
