Project Report | Jan 17, 2024
2023 Was A Good Year

By NI Giddy MA Celine, MA Rose Dr. Sam and Carol | Project Leaders

Happy New Year:

Greetings and Happy New Year to our donors and supporters:  At the beginning of each of our Capacity Building meetings, workshop and training sessions we began our meeting with our pledge and motto from our late founder and leader Pa John Ticha; "All say aloud: “IF YOU LOVE MY PEOPLE, TEACH THEM HOW TO FISH YOU GIVE THEM FISH FOR LIFE. HARD WORK, COMMITMENT, INTEGRITY EQUAL TO SUCCESS”.  words of our founder Patriarch PA John Ticha.  The year 2023 was a very good year for our "Women Empowerment Project" for females in  JRCCA/JRFIUSA and Tyrone Rotary Club of GA-USA and female members in Cameroon, Africa and the Affiliate Club in Liberia.  The year got off to a great start with the anticipation of the Second Memorial Legacy Celebration for the late Pa John Ticha the Co-Founder of JRCCA with his wife Ma Saloma Ticha at the Guest House in Zang Tabi, Momo Division of Cameroon, Africa.   Our Women Empowerment Leadership Team at the Guest House Training Center and at the BHO in Yaounde was very active in person and in Zoom Meetings using capacity building strategies to increase participation in our organization by our females ages 17 through 34 to build a new life style which will get them out of the kitchen into mainstream developing skills that will allow them to work for themselves under vocational training programs or work for others to improve their lifestyle..

(1).  Our leadership team continued to develop our capacity building with other organizations and groups who are also operating in our five zones in Momo Division in the English speaking NW Region in Cameroon, Africa.  Our Leadership Team organized and sponsored our 2nd Annual Memorial Service for our founder and the late Pa John Ticha.  Over 500 members in attendance enjoyed the cook out of the cow and other refreshments and entertainment.  We are looking forward to our 3rd Annual Celebration in April, 2024,

(2).  Incorporation of JRCCA Affiliate in Liberia in December 2023 by Chairman Pastor Flomo in behalf of females ages 17 to 34 who want to make changes in their lifestyles by participating in vocational training skills.

(3).  Sustainable Virtual Training more than 100 Women Empowerment volunteers throughout our five zones in 2023,

(4).  Capacity building resulted in female members being inducted into the Tyrone Rotary Club in Georgia-USA, Cameroon, Africa,

(5).  Women Empowerment Leaders in our organization attended workshop on grant application capacity building by the DOS US Embassy Yaounde,

(6).  Our Women Empowerment Leaders in Etoile Rotary Club of Yaounde agreed work with the Women Empowement Leaders in our organization to help our women and girls develop leadership skills that will help them to change their lifestyle from the farm to the become independent business women in society.

(7).  WE Leaders were involved in participating in 48 SNT Leadership Training for JRCCA and JRFIUSA,

(8).  WE Leaders participated in 48 capacity building business meetings for executive leadership training by setting motions to be implemented throughout our zones and affiliates,

(9).  WE Leadership Set up a $1,000 Memorial Fund in behalf of our founding affiliate Chairman Pastor Flomo from Liberia  to be managed by 3 members from Cameroon and 3 members from Liberia to ensure that our WE Members in Liberia would continue to get the Leadership and Training that was started by Pastor Flomo, Chairman and founder of the affiliate.

(10).  WE Leaders attended 20 capacity building meetings with the Garden in CA, (11).  Actively participated in the GlobalGiving Tuesday Annual Fund Raiser on November 28, 2023,

(12).  WE Leaders collaborated with Director of Arts and Music to conduct our First Annual Vocational Tech and Fund Raiser for training our Youth Vocational Tech Skills.  Over 100 students, parents and volunteers participated in this month-long activity.

Our WE Leader Agnes shared some important takeaways from meetings that she has attended for members of the Tyrone Rotary Club in GA-USA in Cameroon, Africa for the year 2024.  They are:(1).  Reflect on your vision, (2).  Develop SMART GOALS, 3). Prioritize Goals, 4).  Create an action plan, 5).  Track progress - This could involve weekly, monthly, quarterly check-ins to assess progress. We are looking forward to the renovation and opening of the JRCCA Training Center and Guest House which will hosti JRCCA American Corner in Kwojeoh near Tonekoh Tenaam in Tuseh ZANG-TABI TAAH META MBENGWI MOMO DIVISION NWR , Cameroon, Africa  where more than 4 Americans from United States of America have visited and prepared an economic development research that would be used to share and invite USA investors to Cameroon, Africa Indigenous people in zones  1,2,3,4 and 5 will benefit from Capacity build opportunities that the JRCCA Training Center will offer. They love the United States of America and the support they have been receiving which has given them hope to continue their training and development to improve the lifestyle for females ages 17 through 34.  Setting goals for 2024 and uncovering productivity secrets to build a business involves a thoughtful and strategic approach. Here are some steps to consider:

1. Reflect on Your Vision: Begin by reflecting on your long-term vision for your business. What do you hope to achieve by 2024? Consider both quantitative and qualitative goals such as revenue targets, market expansion, product development, and brand positioning.

2. SMART Goals: Once you have a clear vision, break it down into specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. For example, if you aim to increase revenue, specify the exact percentage or monetary target you want to reach by the end of 2024.

3. Prioritize Goals: Not all goals are equally important. Prioritize your goals based on their impact on your business growth and sustainability. Identify the key areas that need improvement or expansion and focus on setting goals in those areas.

4. Create an Action Plan: Develop a detailed action plan for each goal. Outline the specific steps, resources, and timelines required to achieve them. This may involve marketing strategies, product development, operational improvements, or financial planning.

5. Track Progress: Establish systems to track your progress towards each goal. Regularly review your performance against the set targets and make adjustments as needed. This could involve weekly, monthly, or quarterly check-ins to assess progress.By setting clear goals for 2024 and implementing productivity secrets within your business, you can pave the way for sustainable growth and success in the coming years. Remember that flexibility and adaptability are also key components of achieving long-term goals in a dynamic business environment.

With the revonation of the Guest House and Training Center in our headquarters in Zang-Tabi the WE Team will be able to set specific goals in 2024 and measure the progress of improvement of our females and girls ages 17 to 34 in which they have committed to making lifestyle changes from the kitchen to become independent business women who own their own business or have the skills to perform at a high capacity with others to provide greater opportunities for their children and children childrens.   We are grateful for the support and donations that we have received and we are looking forward to your continued support for our project in 2024.

Kind Regards,

WE Team Leadera
