5th Report on Women Vegetable Club

By Azeem Christopher | Program Coordinator

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your worthy donations and support. Through your support we have been able to implement a project which has started bringing the change in the lives of the rural. The vegetables grown during the month of August has started giving the yield to the beneficiaries. Three Beneficiaries Rashida, Khadija and Shamim made it possible through their hard work. They grew Radish , Potatoes, Corriander and Turnips. The Radish is ready and is ready to be sold. Potatoes would be the next one to be sold in the market. The Selling of Radish has given the beneficiries a good profit. They are very happy and satisfied and want to continue it. Their husbands are also involved in this and are helping them to sell the vegetables in the market.

One of the beneficiaries Khadija Bibi expressed her feelings " I am very grateful to the people who have helped me in achieving this and also AWARD Pakistan who have helped me so that I could support myself and my family. I would love to continue this thing and increase my land and the yield in the comingyears"
