Dear our kind supporters,
Thank you always for your support!
~WIT is continuously working with/supporting social entrepreneurs and cross-border leaders during COVID-19. We have shifted our programs online since March.~
Hello, I am Kanako Kimura, a recent joined member who is currently studying at the Fletcher School, Tufts University. Hope everyone is doing well!
I recently had a meeting with Replus (WIT Entrepreneur) CEO, Daigo Hashimoto, and learned about how they are doing under the pandemic. Replus has just launched a new online-learning service "Re Learn" which supports elederly people to measure and improve their basic physical skills that are necessary to maintain their quality lives. The service is currently in Japanese only -- if you know any Japanese people who would be interested in learnig more about the service, please let us know! Free trial service is available for the first 30 users until the end of June !
The idea of this service was actually created when Daigo participated in WIT Cross-Border Learning Journey several years ago. It is impressive how Replus has developed from the idea to the product!!
We also discussed the ongoing operation under the COVID-19, especially how Replus is maintaining its service while mitigating the risk of the elderly citizens and staff members. Moving forward, Daigo aims to create an ecosystem where Replus can support citizens-oriented health initiatives across different regions all over Japan and the world.
Lastly, Replus is recruiting people to join their team! Daigo would like to meet anyone who cares about Japan's aging population and helps scaling Replus operation. It is located in Ishimaki and Tome in Miyagi prefecture! Please see details below

By supporting and working with Replus, WIT aims to contribute to their mission - empowering elderly people to improve their quality of lives (QOL).
With gratitude,
Kanako and WIT Team
