Dear supporters,
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your generous support in empowering social entrepreneurs in Japan's disaster-hit area, Tohoku. Without your kindness, we wouldn't have been able to collaborate with innovative social entrepreneurs to help them build sustainable and resourceful organizations to address pressing social issues.
As you may know, we changed our organization name from WIT (World in Tohoku) to World in You in 2022. The vision and what we have done as WIT have evolved into World in You to work with people from all walks of life.
Today, I am writing this to announce that we would like to close this funding project soon since we have met our fundraising needs thanks to you. Although we close this project GlobalGiving, World in You is still connected with the social entrepreneurs we have worked with in Tohoku, and still conducting interview series to listen to their life journeys and where they are heading. In our next report, I would like to write about how all of your support has enabled the positive changes we have seen through our work in Tohoku and how this work has grown into who we are today.
If you would like to keep hearing from us about World in You's work, please sign up for our newsletter from our website (https://worldinyou.org/en/) or contact me.
With gratitude,
Mio and World in You team
