Growing Futures Together

By Natalia Yukari | Program Coordinator

Dear donors,

Thank you for your continued partnership with the Grupo Nós program. Your support enables sustained processes of care, learning, and development for young people at a critical stage of life. Below, we share highlights from September to December 2025.

In September, we held the much-anticipated Grupo Nós Career Fair, now in its fourth edition. The event offered a full day dedicated to professional development and future pathways. In the first part of the program, young people who had previously completed Grupo Nós joined a roundtable conversation to share the challenges and achievements of their professional journeys, creating an inspiring space for dialogue and peer learning. In the second part, participants engaged in workshops focused on finance, health, project development, beauty and aesthetics, and professional posture.

October marked the realization of our Literary Fair, bringing together young people from Grupo Nós, as well as children and adolescents from the Fazendo Minha História program and participants from the Family Foster Care service of Instituto Fazendo História. Activities included storytelling sessions, photography workshops, hair care activities, and poetic writing workshops, concluding with a vibrant rap battle.

As the year drew to a close, we celebrated the graduation of 18 young people who completed five years of continuous follow-up through the program. To mark this milestone, we visited Parque Maeda, offering a moment to rest and prepare for the next stage of life.

To close the year, we organized a gathering with all the young people who participated in Grupo Nós at the Went’n Wild water park, strengthening bonds and celebrating the journey shared throughout the year.

To conclude, we would like to share the story of F., a 19-year-old who left institutional care one year ago and has been steadily turning his plans into reality. F. completed high school and continues working at an auction company. In the second semester, he began an undergraduate program in technology and has shown strong interest in the field. He is actively engaged in Grupo Nós activities and contributes thoughtful reflections to group discussions. At this year’s Career Fair, F. received a tablet through a raffle, which will support his studies. He currently lives in a Youth Housing residence maintained by the São Paulo Municipal Department of Social Assistance, which ensures his basic needs while allowing him to plan financially for the future. At the end of this year, F. completed his journey with Grupo Nós, and we remain confident as he moves forward.

Thank you for your trust and partnership. Your support helps sustain consistent, long-term work that creates real opportunities for young people as they build their futures
