Educate Children in Mexico

Hello Friends of Centro Infantil de los Angeles,     

Here at Centro Infantil de los Angeles we appreciate you! Thanks to you and donors like you, a new school year has begun. We are currently serving over 150 children from the lower income families with Daycare and Preschool.

Our daycare program includes three classrooms with babies from 3 months through 3 years old. This is a full day program which allows the parents of these babies to work and earn money to provide for their families. Our parents, usually single mothers, are grateful their children are well cared for, fed nutritious meals and loved while they work.

Our preschool program has three morning and three afternoon classes for ages 3 through 6 years old. Last year we could not pay all of our certified teachers a salary and we were grateful for the spirit of volunteerism of 2 teachers. This Spring 2025, we finally had enough funds to pay one of the volunteer teachers a salary and this Fall we are now able to pay all of our teachers! Our teachers are so special to the children, their families and to the whole community. Your help makes a huge difference!

Technology needs and inflation are rising. Your continued support is needed so we can continue providing the high-quality care we give to our families who need it the most. There is a long waiting list of children in need and 3 empty classrooms. Won’t you consider making an extra contribution to open another classroom?
