The project aims to eliminate pediatric diseases in children with nutritional deficiencies, to provide routine health services and providing nutritional support to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, to provide pregnancy follow-up, ultrasound service and delivery service within the scope of maternal child health service, to carry out studies to reduce complications that may occur during and after pregnancy and maternal and child mortality.
As a result of the civil war and crises that started in Yemen in 2015, there has been a significant increase in malnutrition and the resulting diseases in women and children. According to the 2019 UNICEF report, 40% of pediatric diseases in Yemen are caused by malnutrition.
Until now, 169,943 people have received nutritional examinations, 23,114 people have received nutritional treatment, and 27,743 people have received medication and medical equipment support at Yemen Mother-Child and Nutrition Health Centers. In addition, laboratory services were provided to 101,542 and 2,952 births were delivered, reaching more than 480.000 beneficiaries in total. We have a team of 13 people to provide health services
