Great photos from our partner in Zimbabwe this week! Bruce recently joined the herd, replacing our much missed Rupert who fathered many of the kids in the present herd. The breeder where Rupert was sired offered to trade him for a next generation buck in order to keep the gene pool healthy with new blood, thereby improving the goats we give out into the community.
Visits to beneficiary homes were recently completed to see all the new kids! Sara's family celebrated all three does giving birth to healthy kids. Another photo shows Gracious cuddling one of her two kids.
Jenny, Oreo and Snowflake were recently delivered to Lufas and his family Lufas is raising his children alone after losing his wife to AIDS. He expressed his gratitude through tears after feeling hopeless for so long. His family has been given a second chance!
