We often meet grandmothers who are caring for orphans in our programs. Today I want to introduce you to Mr. Ndlovu. He is a 67 year old widower in Bezha. Mr. Ndlovu lost his wife 4 years ago and is looking after his grandchildren.
Mr. Ndlovu is very grateful for your generosity. Because of caring donors like yourself, we have been able to provide him with seeds and knowledge on how to plant and manage his tomato garden. He says that he has managed to buy some basic commodities for his grandchildren and grown daughters who are completing their secondary education.
Our partner in Zimbabwe is thrilled with Mr. Ndlovu's progress. They said he has the best quality tomatoes, and have appointed him to teach the other families how to manage their gardens. Additional seeds of other varieties have recently been distributed and we will continue to share the progress with you.
