Menstrual Hygiene Management Training Report at Mkonoo Secondary School.

Hello dear Friends and Donors. Recently we had a good day on this school; with REEpads we educated 101 girls (and 2 female teachers) on this important topic and handed out free reusable REEpads santitary pads to use in the future. We know this is to little for each girl, but education is for u the most important issue at the moment with the budget we now have.

There is an excellent report made of this day and its attached to this report. A short summary:

On 8th July 2025 REEpad team conducted a menstrual hygiene management (MHM) training session at Mkonoo Secondary School, located in Terati Ward, Arusha Region. The session was designed to educate and empower adolescent girls with accurate information on menstrual health, sexual reproductive health awareness, break taboos surrounding menstruation and provide reusable sanitary pads to help reduce absenteeism among schoolgirls during their menstrual cycles.

A total of 103 reusable sanitary pads were distributed and all the girls were exited to get this education!

With more support we can visit an other school too, but we thank our current donors for supporting this great and important project.

Best Regards,

Pendaeli Amos & Peter de Laat
