1. Context and Justification
In the Democratic Republic of Congo, thousands of children are forced to work in artisanal mining sites, particularly in the South Kivu province. According to CARITAS (2023), nearly 5,000 children are working in each artisanal mining site, exposed to dust, disease, landslides, and violence.
These children, deprived of education and a normal childhood, represent a generation at risk. In response to this urgent situation, our project “Save the Children from the Mines in the DRC” aims to rescue 100 children from the mines and offer them a second chance—to learn, dream, and build a better future.

4. Overall Budget
The total project budget is USD 20,000.
As of today, thanks to our partnership with GlobalGiving, we have already raised USD 152. This initial amount gives us hope and confidence that we will reach our full target and officially launch activities in November 2025.
5. Project Progress
The project is currently in the preparatory phase, focused on:
6. Partnership and Collaboration
Our partnership with GlobalGiving provides international visibility and builds trust with donors worldwide. Together, we believe we can break the cycle of child labor in mines and restore hope to these young lives.
7. Call for Solidarity
We make a heartfelt appeal to all donors, organizations, and individuals who wish to support a project with a deep human impact.
Every contribution—big or small—changes a life. With your generosity, one child will lay down mining tools and take up schoolbooks.
Join us in this mission of justice and humanity.
With your help, we will reach our goal of USD 20,000 to save 100 children from the mines and give them a future of dignity and peace.
8. Acknowledgements
We extend our sincere thanks to all our donors who have already contributed. Your trust and support are the driving force behind this project.
Thanks to you, we are moving step by step toward our shared dream:
a Congo where no child grows up in a mine, but in a classroom.
