Ugandan children in Bukedea experience a bittersweet second Christmas away from home

Hello *****

I dearly want to thankyou on behalf of the communities we support and the entire colleagues of staff at the bottom of our hearts for your support and love in walking with us a big milestone in 2023.

Christmas activities for Ugandan children are more than mere celebrations; they are a reminder of resilience, bringing a feeling of normalcy and joy in the midst of displacement and hardships.

Ugandan children were transported to community local church, and enjoyed the activities, supported by Charitable Incorporated Community Organization Uganda , and organized by the local church.

Children were so excited to meet Santa Claus for the first time that he just froze. They couldn't believe Santa had found them so far away from home.

These unforgettable experiences, offered by our local church, gave them hope for miracles and good thing.

This project also aims to contribute to improved access to cash, Non-Food Items (NFIs), and protection assistance for vulnerable and host communities affected by poverty context.

Everyone has their own wish for Christmas, and since children’s wishes are genuine expressions of their hearts, they have great power. There are no filters, just pure joy and sincere beliefs.
