The Amadeu Antonio Foundation has been working for over 25 years to strengthen a democratic civil society and to uphold the equal rights and dignity of all people. We stand firmly against racism, antisemitism, and all forms of discrimination and violence. Although the German constitution guarantees equality, this promise is far from being fully realized. That is why we take action-on multiple levels and with a wide range of approaches-always in solidarity with those affected. What does that look like in practice? We offer fast, unbureaucratic financial support to people affected by antisemitic, racist, or right-wing violence-such as through our CURA victims' fund. We advocate for their voices to be heard and prioritized in public debates, whether in the media, in communities, or in the German parliament. We support grassroots projects across the country that promote democratic culture, especially in rural areas. We research and analyze right-wing extremism, antisemitism, and racism, turning our findings into studies, publications, and concrete policy recommendations. We raise public awareness through media outreach, social media, and our own journalistic platform, Belltower News. Our work also includes education and training programs that empower multipliers and changemakers. With our own initiatives, the Foundation often leads the way-spotlighting emerging threats, shaping public discourse, and pushing for lasting change.
