We are a group of volunteers who organized to collect food donations for the residents of the Israeli Center and the surrounding area who don't have access to food security. We collect weekly donations of dried and packaged food (as well as fruits, vegetables, breads, and pastries) and distribute the food right to the hands of those who need food. The food baskets that we arrange are catered to specific requests and needs of the people asking for it-they are not generic. Every Thursday we arrange hundreds of food baskets and we hand them out to needy families every Friday. In addition, we handle requests for donations of clothing, furniture, and equipment via our Facebook group for those who cannot afford it and families who are undergoing a financially difficult time.
