Mission

The James Dean Byrd Foundation works to provide funding for the Los Algarrobos School, an elementary school in the rural fishing town of Canoa, Manabi, Ecuador. The school's mission is "To facilitate children becoming global citizens through language and knowledge in an atmosphere of inquiry and responsible actions. In order to provide a learning environment for children to become bilingual, respectful and responsible."
