Thank you for extending support to our child V.
In the recent months, V has been doing well in his studies. He scored A in his latest series of examinations.
Through your support, we have been able to provide him quality education. In his STD IX examinations, he scored 8.7 GPA on a scale of 10. He is also part of the Sports Committee and School Cabinet for the year 2017-18.
The project has provided V food, education, clothing, health-care, books, stationery etc to help him grow into healthy and responsible adult.
Out of $400 raised, $100 was spent on his food, $150 on his studies, books and stationery, $60 on his clothing and school bag, $30 on his footwear and the remaining amount on his health care and travel.
He has also been part of Sphoorti Athletics Group. He has chosen long distance running as his extra-curricular activity for this year. Through your support, we have been encouraging him with good diet and sports shoes for running. He is running more than 5 km every day, 5 days a week.
Through GlobalGiving, we are able to reach you for helping children like V change their destiny. Honestly, without the support from you, V would have been consigned to a life in a tribal village in rural Telangana (India). By now, he would have become an alcoholic and a vagabond. There would have been a chance of ending up as an illiterate street children or trafficked by anti-social elements if his neighborhood is hostile.
When people like you decide to bring change through your generous contribution, the kind of impact created on a child's life can be beyond your imagination.
