This did not limit her; she started a small business in her community and achieved some succes to feed her family every day. After being forced out of school, Gilian, an excellent student, became pregnant at the age of 17 from a man that did not stay with her, the situation repeated itself 5 years after. Now, at 24, she is a single mother taking care of herself, 2 children, 6 siblings and her sick mother. Unfortounately with constant economic shocks coming from her family (illnesses, school fees and other family problems), she cant keep her business stable and her revenues are intermitent. She is not safe.
Gillian has the plan to start a cosmetic shop, but she does not have enough capital or capacity to save, that's where you can come in. By providing her with the capital she needs you will increase profits and savings. She is a natural entrepreur, with good profits at a smaller scale (the first time we helped her she transformed 50 dollars in a business that generated 400, monthly). If you help her now, we are confident by the end of next year she will be employing other girls.
