Summary

We are currently facing a very long waiting list, with many kids hoping for a chance to change their lives. As the need continues to grow, it has become essential to prioritize the most urgent and impactful cases. At the forefront are children who urgently need wheelchairs. Children who have dreams and potential, but lack the means. Without a wheelchair, these children are deprived of their basic rights - going to school, playing with friends, and simply experiencing life.

Challenge

Due to a long waiting list and limited resources, many kids with disabilities are currently unable to move freely, attend school, or participate in daily life activities. As a result, they remain confined to their homes, which negatively impacts their education, independence, and overall quality of life.

Solution

This project addresses the urgent lack of mobility access for kids with physical disabilities, particularly kids who do not have wheelchairs. By prioritizing the most urgent cases and providing wheelchairs, this project aims to restore mobility, enable access to education, and improve social inclusion for those most in need.

Long-Term Impact

Offering tailor made wheelchairs, spare-parts & maintenance according to international standards is a life-changing movement for wheelchair users in Egypt. Building capacity of Egyptian professionals who are trained & certified abroad through our project to handle measurements, maintenance and all relevant issues is a vital part of this initiative as well.
