We will provide both training and farming inputs like seeds, organic fertilizer and small farm tools for young farmers in order for them to beat the problem of food scarcity due to the onslaught of the El Nino. Right now heat-wave and water scarcity is happening and there is a need to equip our young farmers with climate-resilient agriculture techniques as well as farm inputs. We intend to support 120 farmers for this project.
The El Nino phenomenon is wrecking havoc to agriculture production in our target villages. Without proper intervention, our young farmers will face the consequence of hunger and malnutrition. There is an urgent need to provide them with training and support in order to surpass this problem. Your help is urgently needed.
Providing young farmers with training and farm inputs like seeds, organic fertilizer and small farm tools will be instrumental in helping them beat the problem of lack of production, hunger and malnutrition. The need is urgent as the heat-wave and dry season will last until middle of next year.
The heat wave happening is causing havoc among poor families and there is a need to improve their conditions by providing direct help. In so doing we improve the conditions of the community and enable self-sustenance and development.

Every microproject is intended to use the donations it receives in accordance with its stated description; however, it is important to provide project leaders with the flexibility to maximize the potential benefit from the donations they receive. This means that your donation may be used as a part of the main project that supports this microproject, specifically Youth-led Heat Wave Disaster Relief and Recovery. In this event, the project leader is required to post an update to the microproject detailing the results and reasons behind this change.
If you or any other donor is unhappy with the way their funds have been used, he or she can reallocate their donation using the GlobalGiving guarantee.
