Donor support is helping transform our computer hub into a trusted gateway to information and opportunity for families and young people in our community. By helping us equip the hub with internet-connected computers, donors are making it possible for community members to access timely, accurate information that can directly improve their daily lives.
Farmers can now research current market prices before selling their produce, helping them make better decisions and negotiate more fairly. Students and young people can search for scholarships, training opportunities, jobs, and career pathways that may previously have been completely unknown to them. Families can also learn about government services, required documentation, and procedures, reducing confusion and unnecessary travel costs.
For many community members, the greatest impact is simply having a reliable place where they can ask questions, search for information, and receive guidance. Our trained staff help first-time users navigate online resources, ensuring that limited digital experience does not become another barrier.
Through donor support, the hub is therefore becoming more than a computer facility. It is becoming a place where information reaches people who have historically had limited access to it — helping families make informed decisions, young people discover new possibilities, and community members connect with services and opportunities.
Every contribution to this initiative is helping close the information gap and giving our community greater access to the knowledge they need to build better and more sustainable futures.

Start a FundraiserEvery microproject is intended to use the donations it receives in accordance with its stated description; however, it is important to provide project leaders with the flexibility to maximize the potential benefit from the donations they receive. This means that your donation may be used as a part of the main project that supports this microproject, specifically Keep her in school. In this event, the project leader is required to post an update to the microproject detailing the results and reasons behind this change.
If you or any other donor is unhappy with the way their funds have been used, he or she can reallocate their donation using the GlobalGiving guarantee.
