Teaching more teachers about computer skills

By Seguya Ivan | Project leader

Dear donor,

We are pleased to share how your generous support will help transform teacher capacity across Mukono District and Eastern Uganda through the F Ssibu Mission Foundation Community Computer Hub.

The Impact of Your Support

Your contribution will enable us to equip the Community Computer Hub with computers and reliable internet connectivity — infrastructure that will directly transform how local teachers access and build digital skills. For many educators, this hub will represent their first sustained access to computer technology, and that access will translate into measurable gains in classroom capability.

What This Will Mean for Teachers

Through structured computer literacy training at the hub, teachers will gain the ability to:

Confidently operate digital tools and platforms in the classroom

Access online educational resources to strengthen lesson planning and curriculum delivery

Communicate and collaborate more effectively with colleagues and school leadership

Model digital literacy for their students — many of whom will be encountering these skills for the first time

The Ripple Effect

Every teacher trained through the hub will become a multiplier of your investment. The skills they gain will not end with them; they will carry forward into every classroom, reaching every student they teach, year after year. What begins as computers on a table will build a growing base of digitally confident educators — and a generation of students better equipped for the future.

Thank you for making this impact possible. We look forward to sharing the outcomes of this work with you as it unfolds.

With sincere appreciation,

F ssibu mission foundation
