Dear donor,
Many talented young people have the potential to succeed but lack access to reliable career information, professional guidance, mentors, scholarships, vocational training, and employment opportunities.
Through the community computer hub, young people will access digital resources that connect them with career pathways, vocational and technical training, scholarships, internships, online courses, professional opportunities, and legitimate employment information. The hub will provide a supportive environment where beneficiaries can research different careers, understand the qualifications required, identify suitable training opportunities, and develop realistic plans for their future.
The program will also provide practical digital career support, including CV writing, online job applications, professional email communication, interview preparation, digital portfolios, and responsible online job searching. These skills will help young people become more confident and competitive when pursuing education, training, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Mentorship will be an important component of the initiative. Young people will have opportunities to receive guidance, encouragement, and practical advice from mentors who can help them identify their strengths, set goals, overcome challenges, and remain focused on positive pathways.
The impact will extend beyond individual beneficiaries. Better-informed young people can make stronger career decisions, acquire relevant skills, access opportunities, and contribute more effectively to their families and communities.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation will measure progress through beneficiary numbers, mentorship sessions, career resources accessed, CVs developed, applications submitted, training opportunities identified, scholarships accessed, and education or employment outcomes.
