Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy training will equip girls with practical knowledge to make informed financial decisions and prepare for future economic independence. The training will cover saving, budgeting, simple bookkeeping, business planning, pricing, customer care, and responsible money management.
For girls growing up in vulnerable communities, these skills provide an important foundation for navigating life beyond the classroom. Participants will learn how to identify opportunities, develop simple business ideas, manage limited resources, understand costs and profits, and make responsible financial decisions. The emphasis will be on building an entrepreneurial mindset rather than simply encouraging girls to start businesses prematurely.
Impact on the Community
The benefits can extend to families and the wider community as girls become more confident in managing resources, planning for their futures, and pursuing productive opportunities. Over time, equipped young women can establish enterprises, access employment, contribute to household incomes, and potentially create opportunities for others.
Financial literacy can also help girls develop confidence, independence, resilience, and responsible decision-making, strengthening their ability to withstand economic pressures that may otherwise disrupt their education and future prospects.
