Equip 20 computers to support school dropouts

This Program will use handcrafts and creative arts as a pathway for girls to discover their abilities, express themselves, and develop skills that can translate into future opportunities. Through beadwork, weaving, decoration, creative design, and other locally relevant crafts, girls will learn to turn simple materials and ideas into products with purpose and value.

The program will place strong emphasis on learning by doing. Girls will experiment, create, improve their designs, and learn how to present their work to potential customers. They will also be introduced to basic concepts of product quality, costing, packaging, branding, and marketing, helping them understand the journey from an idea to a finished product.

Creating Possibilities Beyond the Classroom

For a girl whose circumstances may limit her exposure to opportunities, discovering that she can create something valuable with her own hands can be transformative. It can strengthen her confidence, encourage problem-solving, nurture patience and discipline, and open her mind to possibilities she may not previously have considered.

At community level, the activity can contribute to the growth of small creative enterprises and promote locally produced goods. Girls can eventually use their skills to pursue vocational pathways, supplement household livelihoods, or build businesses as they transition into adulthood.
