Building a Digital Learning Hub for Vulnerable Children

By Ivan Seguya | Project leader

For many children growing up in underserved communities, a computer is more than a piece of technology—it can be a gateway to knowledge, creativity, skills, and future opportunities.

F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to equip a community computer hub with 20 computers to create a practical learning space where children and young people can gain digital skills in an environment designed for learning and growth.

The hub will provide opportunities for pupils, school dropouts, girls, boys, and vulnerable youth to develop essential computer knowledge. Learners can be introduced to typing, basic computer applications, online learning, digital research, communication, responsible internet use, and other skills that can strengthen their educational journey.

The program is particularly important for children who may have limited access to technology at home. Instead of allowing the digital divide to widen, the hub creates a shared opportunity for young people to learn, practice, and build confidence.

Donor support can help us equip the hub with computers, learning materials, desks and chairs, connectivity, power equipment, software, and other essential resources.

With 20 computers in place, more young people can access structured digital learning and begin discovering possibilities beyond their immediate circumstances.

Your support can help turn a community space into a place where children learn, explore, create, and prepare for a digital future.
