Young people have ideas, stories, talents, and creativity, but many lack access to the technology needed to turn those ideas into digital content. F SSIBU plans to use the Computer Hub as a practical digital creativity space where children and young people can explore responsible content creation and develop new forms of expression.
Participants can learn basic graphic design, presentation creation, digital storytelling, document design, educational poster development, and other age-appropriate creative skills. The activity can encourage young people to communicate community issues, celebrate positive stories, document local initiatives, and develop portfolios demonstrating their abilities.
Donor support can help provide computers, design software, internet connectivity, storage devices, printing resources, learning materials, and practical instruction. Continued support can also help maintain equipment and introduce additional creative learning opportunities as the hub develops.
For a young person with limited resources, access to technology can turn creativity into a practical learning experience. Instead of simply consuming digital content, participants can learn to create, communicate, collaborate, and solve problems using technology.
Donor generosity therefore helps provide more than computer access. It creates a platform where young people can discover talents and develop skills that may become useful in education, entrepreneurship, employment, and community communication.
Through this initiative, F SSIBU seeks to nurture a generation of digitally confident young people who can use technology constructively, creatively, and responsibly to express themselves and contribute to their communities.
