A computer hub becomes more valuable when knowledge gained by one learner can be shared with others. F SSIBU seeks to develop a community digital mentors and peer trainers initiative in which participants who demonstrate strong computer skills can receive additional guidance and help other children and community members learn.
Participants can be encouraged to support beginner learners with basic computer operation, typing, document preparation, research, digital organization, and other appropriate skills. With supervision, experienced learners can become positive examples for others and contribute to a culture of peer learning.
Donor support can help provide training materials, internet access, maintenance, learning resources, mentor development sessions, and basic operational costs. This support allows the Computer Hub to expand its reach without depending exclusively on one instructor.
The initiative can create a multiplier effect: one learner gains skills, then helps another learner develop confidence, creating additional opportunities for knowledge sharing within the community.
For donors, this means their contribution can help build a sustainable culture of learning around the Computer Hub. Instead of technology remaining concentrated among a small number of users, knowledge can gradually spread among children, youth, and community members.
F SSIBU seeks to build a hub where computers become instruments for shared learning, leadership, and community empowerment.
